How do I frenemy?

Make a pledge today to meet a frenemy on or around November 9th. When the time comes, here is some advice on how to get the conversation started, but it really isn’t that difficult. Engage in a respectful yet probing conversation, ideally face to face, that reminds you and your counterpart of your shared humanity beyond your very real, and valid, disagreements.  Rinse, repeat, and share your stories via Twitter (#FrenemiesDay), Facebook and Instagram (#FrenemiesDay).

Note: Frenemies Day is part of a research study at Virginia Tech. Stories posted may be used anonymously for research purposes in academic publications. Please contact the primary investigator, Dr. Todd Schenk, at tschenk@vt.edu if you have any questions. Should you have any questions or concerns about the study’s conduct, or your rights as a research subject, you may contact the Virginia Tech IRB Chair, Dr. David M. Moore at moored@vt.edu.
